Sponsorship Fund

We are always looking for community members, businesses and funding opportunities to provide partial sponsorships for teens in need. Our current sponsorship fund is used up, but you can apply to be added to the applicant list for next term.

NDIS (National Disability Insurance Agency)

Plan-managed and self-managed NDIS clients may use funds casual visits and our full 3 day/wk program. This can be claimed under core or capacity building. For NDIS participants, pay your membership using your own money and get a receipt [pay upfront or using direct debit through The Cage Youth Foundation]. Make a Payment Request to have the money from your NDIS plan budget paid into your nominated bank account. You will be reimbursed within 24 to 48 hours. (Taken from ndis.gov.au)

Textbook and Resource Allowance

Each year in March, the Home Education Unit will contact registered families regarding the payment of a textbook and resource allowance of $130-$281. This can be used towards Celebrate Learning fees. For more information, click here. Please note that FLIQ participants are not eligible for this allowance.

Isolated Children Scheme

If you live in a regional area such as Stradbroke Island, or if your child has a medical exemption from school, you may be able to access the Isolated Children Scheme allowance under the "Distance Education" category of homeschooling. This allowance can help pay for attending homeschooling support groups and community engagement activities such as Celebrate Learning. For more information, click here.
